No Guarantees 2010

             No Guarantees

She throws herself out there,

Cast your bread upon the waters.

How she lives.

She hasn’t always done so. Knows

There is no other way,

No other modus operandi –

Others feeling man-ufactured.

When luggage goes astray,

The world blas

é

Her instinct trusts

The thrust of life.

There are no guarantees.
