Let’s Face it 2011

Let’s Face it

Not out there – gender parts and kidneys,

Limbs and such, their liquids, hormones;

It would be absurd to think

Divided absoluteness.

Common sense,

Collected in,

Connected to

The brain: my brain:

I’m here, no accident,

Attempting to – what is the word – sustain

A feeling of affinity

That comes now and again;

‘Made in His image’.

Metaphor/linguistic phrase;

Quaint metaphor/linguistic tries,

But well,

We have to use them don’t we?
