Find Your Voice
You’ve got one
Somewhere.
Singing, speaking, sparkling with
Ideas, tools of your own,
(though still unknown).
You have a sound, exclusive as
The lacy underwear you bear;
It is your character;
It tells you who you are;
It is your path, your road, your avenue;
You, yours; your message.
Vocal chords massaged (bad pun)
Where your potential lies
Through sighs, self-criticized,
Repeated tries,
Weak, uncontrolled;
Vibratos wobbling you.
Your gift –
It never screams.
It dreams until…
One day it’s play-filled
And you’re singing.
