Shaping My Day 2013

Shaping My Day

When I’m so tired

I can only sit un-fired,

Giving in to lassitude.

But I can think, imagine,

I can take in

(in my mind)

A wish, a hope, a picture –

Take it into body,

Upward palms that sit on thigh,

And me, oh my –

I move.

Not fast, not goal directed:

Move the neck, the legs,

The bottom, which removes

Itself from sofa.

And so far so good.

A sudden, slowness and

The day

Is on its way.
