My Charger 2013

My Charger

God, you are

My charger.

Plugging in to you

For energy and power too,

I’m tired, really tired; things to do,

It’s likely that I’ve got the flu;

Stomach hurts, the torso.

There’s a light dry cough –

It’s such a drag.

I understand Virginia Woolf.

Fagged out, lagging behind

A sagging and fatigued behind;

I’d say I’m pretty far behind.

I’ve got to find my health again,

So God, my doctor friend,

I am your patient battery,

Heal, charge and then restore me

(when you’ve got the urge and can.)

My Charger 11..23.2013

God Book;
