Ubiquitous Pines

(A theft from letters dated September 12/13)

Summer winter green, big G.

No space-y view;

Walls of green that face you

Without letting light get through.

September and these changing climate days it’s summer.

Leaf trees turning yellowish, but summerish.

Have you noticed,

All one ever wants is light?

Even with the cooler nights,

If next day light is there before

Before the clock turns back,

You’re happy.

I back-read letters and I quote:

Myself, the other, stealing words, like

“Sparkle, fountain, poetry, poetic”

Workds that strike me –

Even typographical mistakes like workds:

I take and use the double meaning:

Words and works

For, of course, to mind receptive,

Everything connects.
