I Don’t Like Invisibility
I don’t like that You’re invisible,
Showing signs by way of nature.
Linking mental self to You,
Some nice occurrence usually
Keeps company. Call it serendipity.
Nice, but insufficient.
I want more –
A pouring out of light perhaps.
An angel in the night, perhaps.
A levitation, revelation,
Glimpse into an afterlife…
You’re forcing me to act through faith.
Idiots have reached You,
Reveled in a presence, mad with joy;
Known this death thing, known this soul thing,
Analyzed a hidden order unavailable to
Most who seek but never see.
Nah, I don’t like invisibility.
