Don’t Need Much

Content with markets of the flea,

Small salary,

After after Christmas ‘sales’,

Lipstick on both cheek and mouth,

Don’t need much.

Foods and clothes and furniture –

I’ve got enough – more than enough.

The stuff I need keeps coming. Therefore,

Why do I keep reaching, stretching, some itch

In my head dissatisfied and scratching,

When I know I don’t need much.
