Hundreds of us – thousands, and
We’re playing jazz, writing books,
Keeping our good looks with makeup,
Clothes, dyed hair and yoga,
Not worn out like grandma was.
Wrinkles yes,
But energy, that’s key;
And opportunity.
Problems philosophical are always there,
Have always been, will always be –
Faith, death, life’s intention.
There we are with house and pension,
All of our functions.
What a grace, compared to which
The wrinkled face means nothing.
Mind clear!
You’re here!
You’re reading this!
Great! Grateful, greet the day!
