Seeing Through New Eyes
Seeing through new eyes,
Unearthing actualities
Through forms of art realities.
Through similarities containing the sublime
Outside of time and Time:
(One mortal, one immortal)
Both a portal into in-sights prone and prime.
Spontaneous, laborious –
In stone, song, sanity or madness;
Canvas, paper, wood or mantras
Seen or heard, each meaning
Landing in the land of understanding
And enchant-meant.
Grounded in interpretation:
Wafting through the air
As if our sight and ear
Could smell* the lair where
Truth and art abide,
Perhaps collide in atoms.
These we welcome
With new-vested eyes,
To praise and prize
The few days we all live.

*sight and ear could smell; an oxymoron
Comments:
“Beautifully tackled & penned from a deep space”
“Original and inspiring. Yes, writing throws one into places in the mind that are, if one can say, exploratory in new ways.”
