Dragon Fly, Oh Dragonfly
Dragonfly, oh dragonfly,
I’ve watched you as the years flew by;
This summer’s magic ever new,
Sequin blue the usual audacity.
‘Copter-like, over, up and down the lake,
Do you really live a day?
Not able to stay one more day?
Is it something I should learn from,
Churning wasted morning time,
Mourning time not tasted,
Laced with limits never tested.
Wondrous dragon dear, near, here:
See your wondrous kin next year!
