Isolation As A Means
The isolating medium
(Pandemic’s global impact)
Has done a job.
Few demeaning things that rob:
Calls returned, lunches met,
Coming through,
Emails too
With nought of worth to say or do.
Oh, the benefits of saying in,
Throwing sins of wasteful time
Into the garbage bin of slime and time.
Everything brings inspiration,
Anything a motivation;
Open to inventiveness of one’s creation
Which, in turn means making choices
Truer to your inner voices;
Not fiddling, waiting for some muse
To lift you from your busy-ness.
There is a principle to hold to:
Everything you wish to do
Will always end in clarity;
All a ‘simple but not easy’.
That is, one could say, my friend
A means, a goal and a right end.
