The Origin
The Origin Is all that interests me
And probably should be
All that you seek to see
Inside the mind inside your brain.
It calls for faith not logic
They will call you ‘mystic’,
Maybe ‘sick’
For few find this
The essence
Of their quest.
It’s comforting to find a bank
Of likewise intellect in one Max Planck
Whose Nobel Prize in physics,
The reality of quantum theory,
Intellectual and scientific
Was himself
A gifted singer, organist and cellist,
Writing songs and operas,
Choosing physics over music.
Choice of God existent
Alongside extant physics.
I’m never tired,
More inspired
By such as a bank of Planck
To thank
For looking in
To find an origin
That takes in Everything.
