“Everything we hear is an opinion not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth”. Marcus Aurelius Roman Emperor- (121-180 AD)
And each perspective a projection
Of a self with aptitudes and observations,
Tendency based imitations,
DNA and limitations:
All interpretation. Yet,
One’s essence is an imperfection
Aiming at the soul’s perfection
And its fusing with the truth.
From worst of us to first of us
All wanting Truth:
The underlying, endless youth of truth, forsooth*

The stanza underlying life that’s odd,
We, searching for an underlying force called God.
Never to be independent, non-aligned, all-free,
Although unique in variation,
Subject to so many factors,
Unalike in uniformity.

What shall one do?
What exhortation** can one give?
It’s but to live,
Try to be true
To self-apparent self called you;
Eventually to see through
Chimeras that fool, delude
The things you undergo:
The seven-days-a-week you know.
It’s all perspective and a show.
Not Fact But Perspective 6.13.2022 Revelations Big & Small; Arlene Nover Corwin (11.8.’34 – AD)
*Forsooth; indeed.
**Exhort; urge, implore, persuade, appeal to.
