Facebook Compliment.
A nice girl/woman wrote to me on Facebook
With a flattering, remark –
Appreciative about some poem she’d liked.
Not telling me to ‘take a hike’
It was the finest compliment
One could get.
I wrote back et al,
“It has never been and never was intentional
To preach but just to reach out
And do what great thinkers always did:
Say what they have always said:
Use your gifts, purify your motives
And the end will be a positive”.
Simple as a pimple!
Spurred on and gratified,
That in some sense I’d succeeded,
I took my keyboard
And continued…
