Wise Thoughts
To ‘think’ wise and to ‘do’ wise is
Entirely contradictory.
‘Wise ’is nice, has size,
Is wisdom’s Nobel prize.
Hard to carry through.
It takes so many years to do,
To be
With constancy.
Every day is new. That’s good!
Another chance
To fix the dance – life’s blood and food.
Wise is sharp, astute, insightful;
Logical, enlightened-full.
Wise has knowledge, yet we fail,
Time and time, flawed, floored, falling. .
The road is long.
Time to go wrong,
Get wisdom prime into our spine.
I’m tryin’ still.
