You Only Need Your Mind To Make You Happy
It’s happened, and
We don’t know where that step will land.
Heaven is an endless place,
A palace all its own.
A space that holds not only
Some small few,
But possibly, one day, me, you.
You only need your mind
To find the many ways to ‘bless’.
Only need your mind to make for happiness.
Even so, and nonetheless,
We fail, mistaking goal and means,
Means for goals,
What it means to crawl
Before we run –
Life care and understanding.
Perhaps we need to understand
That we are kings and queens, we all
If we can each be gentle, regal,
With nobility of mind the prime
and selfless moral..
God save small kings and queens.
