Late In Life
Late in life, the chances less,
There’s stiffening,
A mold long lasting;
Anyway, there’s leeway, flexibility,
Scope and freedom;
Latitude
Always,
All ways.
Stretching forward
Pressing, reaching,
Catching hold
Of anything that aids,
You reach your toes
And teach your toes
That you’re the boss.
Late can be the better part.
Late can be the start.
