Time Ticks The Word

Time ticks the word, the word ticks time;

Choice word to operate.

Time ticks, impressions fade,

Each phrase a lifeblood, wordhood

To elect, select (for at the start

There was the word)

Think, that Beginning had a word

No, was a word.

Could it be Om? Amen?

It doesn’t matter.  There it was:

A word!

Unheard, of course,

But there; essential for

The time that was,

That is, that will

Be ever and forever.
